Vainilla

In the late 80s, a family made up of seven women from different generations and ideologies, struggle to save the house they live in and which they are about to lose because of a debt. The story unfolds through the eyes of the youngest, Roberta (8), as she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, which impacts the rest of the family.

Mayra Hermosillo, originaire de Torreón Coahuila (Mexique), a travaillé comme actrice pour des réalisateurs comme Alejandra Márquez Abella, Rodrigo Prieto, Alejandro Guzmán, Iván Ávila, Luis Estrada, Amat Escalante, Humberto Hinojosa, Rodrigo Plá, Michel Espinosa, Salvador Espinosa. En 2018, elle a écrit et codirigé son premier court-métrage, sélectionné officiellement au Festival International de Guadalajara. Vanille, son premier long-métrage, tourné en 2023, est en cours de post-production.
