José de Los Santos (70) is in charge of the funeral rituals of his village inside the Pacific coastline. One day, the soul of his son announces him his own death and orders him to find his way to the origins. He goes on a journey into the jungle. In the midst of an eternal war, he must stay alive to reach his final resting place.
