Valentina loses her father in an accident. Not satisfied with the explanation, she searches for him everywhere. Confronted with her mother, she becomes a lonely child. With the help of her friend Pedro and her imagination she will try to overcome her grief.

Ángeles Cruz

Mixtèque originaire de la région d’Oaxaca (Mexique), Ángeles CRUZ est marquée par sa communauté très présente dans sa vie et son travail. Actrice dans plus de 20 longs-métrages, elle a réalisé 3 courts avant Nudo mixteco, son 1er film découvert à Cinéma en Construction 36, sorti en salles en France (2021) et diffusé à Cinélatino en sa présence.

Production notes

We are now in the post-production stage which involves editing, sound design, mixing, color correction, music, recording, visual effects, credits, translation and other important steps needed to finalize the project. The Cinélatino, Rencontres de Toulouse 2023 support would be essential to finalize the film. In addition to being able to aspire to one of the awards, we believe that this festival focused on Latin American films will give a great impulse to our film.
