Pilar, a young chambermaid at Hotel Fortaleza, will be leaving for Dublin after New Year’s in search of a new life. Her path crosses that of Shin, a south-Korean hotel guest who has come to Brazil to take her deceased husband’s body back to Seoul. Both their plans begin to go haywire and, despite everything that separates the two women, they wind up drawing closer and establishing an intense relationship of mutual solidarity as they endeavor to find solutions to their problems in each other.

Cinéaste, diplômé en dramaturgie et réalisation de l’Institut Dragão do Mar et sociologue, diplômé de l’Université d’État du Ceará. Greta, son premier long métrage, a eu sa première mondiale au 69e Festival international du film de Berlin. Il a réalisé neuf œuvres en tant que réalisateur ou scénariste de courts métrages et longs métrages, fictions et documentaires, parmi lesquels: Mulher Biônica, O Amor do Palhaço, Origem: Destino y Parque de Diversões. Les films ont circulé au Festival International de Clermont-Ferrand, à Cinélatino à Toulouse, Mecal à Barcelone et dans plus de 30 festivals nationaux et internationaux. Il termine actuellement son deuxième long métrage, Fortaleza Hotel. En collaboration avec Carnaval Filmes et Cinema Inflamável, il développe respectivement les projets Ne Me Quitte Pas et Cachoeira do Descuido. Il a travaillé avec d’importants cinéastes brésiliens tels que Marcelo Gomes, Sérgio Machado, Karim Aïnouz, Márcia Faria et d’autres en tant que scénariste, chercheur, assistant réalisateur et préparateur de casting. À la télévision, il a joué le rôle de scénariste dans la série Me Chama de Bruna pour FOX TV, Betinho (en production) pour GloboPlay et a développé Pedro, pour Ipanema Filmes.
