Based on a true story occurring in 1974, the film tells the tale of the sisters Justa, Lucia and Luciana Quispe, peasants from the altiplano who live a lonely life. Their recent mourning for the death of a sister and news arriving from the outside prompt the girls to have existential doubts that will relentlessly drive them to a tragic end.

Sebastián SEPÚLVEDA (Concepción, 1972) a étudié le montage à l’École de San Antonio de los Baños à Cuba et le scénario à La Fémis à Paris. Il fut le monteur de plusieurs films dont La León et Joven y alocada en 2012. En 2008, il a réalisé le documentaire El Arenal.
