Né à Mexique, fait ses études d’Histoire à l’UNAM et de Cinéma au Centre pour la Cinématographie CCC, il a réalisé un échange entre le C.C.C. et la Hochshule fur Fernsehen und Film de Munich, en Allemagne. Il a suivi un séminaire de Patricio Guzmán en documentaire et un atelier en documentaire par James Benning. Il a été boursier d’IBERMEDIA, Fundación TyPA et FICCO.

Sobrevivientes Films founded in 2002, consists of a talented and experienced team that has already directed, produced and organised 6 feature film projects of high quality, authenticity and strong commitment to personal points of view and authorial passions. Abolición de la Propiedad, winner of the Mayahuel award for best screenplay at the 2011 Guadalajara International Film Festival and Un Mundo Secreto, winner of the Visions Sud Est 2010 aid to production, are its most recent productions.
