Los silencios

Nuria and Fabio arrive with their mother Amparo in an unknown island on the border  between Brazil, Colombia and Peru. They are fleeing armed conflicts in Colombia. Fearful of betraying family secrets, Nuria goes silent. In the midst of this, the family tries to  receive compensation for the father’s death and to obtain a visa to emigrate to Brazil. By covering this story, they uncover others about the family’s past.

Beatriz Seigner

Beatriz Steigner est scénariste et réalisatrice du film Bollywood Dream (2009), la première coproduction entre le Brésil et l’Inde, sélectionnée dans presque 20 festivals internationaux (Busan, Tokyo, Paris, Los Angeles, São Paulo, etc) et du documentaire en post-production Between us, a secret, filmé avec les griots (conteurs) d’Afrique. Comme scénariste, elle est auteure du scénario du film de Walter Salles, La contadora de películas.
