Zoológico tells about three adolescents immersed in a totally americanized reality. Suburbs, malls, Internet, pornography, violence and a bored youth in the most well-off sector of Chile. Camilo tries to adapt himself to his new family, Belén persists in recording a video to send to a television casting and Aníbal begins to distress, which carries him to adopt a violent conduct.
Rodrigo Marín
Après avoir étudié pendant quelques années la psychologie et la philosophie, Rodrigo Marín est entré à l’École de Cinéma du Chili. Travail de fin d’études. Puis il a écrit et réalisé Los Bastardos, long-métrage de fiction, actuellement en post-production du son (tourné début 2006 en 16mm).
Autres réalisations: Nochebuena (documentaire); Sheol (court-métrage filmé en 16mm); Pictograma Dogkumental (documentaire). Rodrigo Marín écrit actuellement un nouveau scénario, Mercedes 86 Las Niñas est son premier film.
