Synopsis : 

In a territory where indigenous life collides with urbanization, Iraí is a young indigenous man who learns that Jerá, the mysterious girl he is deeply in love with, could be suffering from a deadly condition known by his community as "Jepotá". When Jerá suddenly disappears, Iraí seeks Caburé’s help, a woman retreated into the wilderness. In a midst of a vast industrial district, Iraí finds himself and discovers the intricate interconnections of reality that go far beyond what he could have imagined.

Director's biography: 

Indigenous leader, writer and director, Papá Guarani works on art and audiovisual productions to valorize the Mbya Guarani culture. He is amongst the most active Brazilian thinkers, establishing bridges between indigenous and non-indigenous society. Augusto Canani is a Brazilian filmmaker. His short films have won over 40 awards in 60 film festivals worldwide. He created a lasting relationship with Papa's ethnic group, the Mbya-Guarani, and is co-founder of the Maracá Institute.

Based in Porto Alegre, Prana Filmes was founded in 2011 by Luciana Tomasi and Carlos Gerbase. The company has produced five feature films The Pink Cloud (2021) and three short films.
