Note of intent
I agree with John Casavetes when he says that all films are about love, in one way or another, and for me is a pleasure to imerge in this poli-love universe, and talk about something that is very dear and close to me: motherhood and a triple relationship. I believe through this film we can reflect upon human connections, feminism and woman polygamy, society, capitalism and its tabus and life controls, and that, after all, there is nothing more revolutionary and challenging than love.
Synopsis
How a triple love relationship can be lived among 3 parents of young kids, in a Brazilian society that has become more explicit religious, violent and conservative on the latest years? Julia, a 36 years old mother of Tito, 3 years old, who works as conflict mediator in Brazilian community and courts, reencounter a old friend love of hers, a successful black visual artist Irina, who is also mother of two young kids, and now is married to a French guy, and the three of them try to live and establish a triple relationship, while facing the challenging conservative Brazilian Society, at their kids school, their works and their families.
Visual concept
This is a contemporary love story that deepens into relationships dynamics to emerge social and political issues and reflexions. Our main reference is A Separation by Asghar Farhadi.
