Synopsis : 

Zoológico tells about three adolescents immersed in a totally americanized reality. Suburbs, malls, Internet, pornography, violence and a bored youth in the most well-off sector of Chile. Camilo tries to adapt himself to his new family, Belén persists in recording a video to send to a television casting and Aníbal begins to distress, which carries him to adopt a violent conduct.

Zoológico received an aid from Lastarria90, Chilean cultural centre, that allows its production and its filming.

Director's biography: 

He studies at the Cinema School of Chile. He realizes  Las niñas, which participates in Cinema in Construction 2007 and releases this year at the San Sebastián Festival, and which have participated in international festivals and received the Critic Special Prize in Miami and the Best Feature Film Prize at the Latin American Film Festival of Utrecht, among others. He’s writing a thesis in Documentary Cinema and specializing in the Cinema and Television School (EICTV) as a scriptwriter.
