FILMS :
CARLOS GARDEL, GAVROCHE SUPERSTAR
Carlos Gardel, one of the first superstars of the interwar period, remains the greatest popular myth of Buenos Aires and Argentina's universal symbol. In thirty years, he went from a suburban “gavroche” to an international ambassador for tango and Argentina. Having become a legend during his lifetime, he and his entourage built a mythic biography of him full of omissions, dark episodes and falsifications, in the image of Argentine history.
