THE CNC PRESENTS the International Coproduction France – Latin America SUPPORT AND THE ACM Distribution SUPPORT

Presentation of the Aide aux cinémas du monde (ACM), a selective fund dedicated to feature fiction, animation or creation documentary projects for a first exhibition in a cinematographic theatre. The grant may be awarded before the completion of a project, and those projects not selected for a grant before their completion can apply for the grant after its completion.
The Aide aux cinémas du monde support provides a unique point of entry for filmmakers from around the world. It aims to make the association of filmmakers and professionals from around the world more open, attractive and simple, with a view to co-producing works that will contribute to promoting cultural diversity.

Presentation of the Aide aux cinémas du monde distribution (ACMD), a support scheme dedicated to support and promote the international distribution and circulation of co-productions with a non-European country. This programme has received support from the European Commission’s Creative Europe-MEDIA programme.

Béatrice Rodenbour, Aide aux cinémas du monde and partnerships Manager

Béatrice Rodenbour is in charge, in collaboration with the French Institute, of the 1st college of the Aide aux cinémas du monde (pre-production support for 1st and 2nd LM) since 2017, as well as the 3rd college (post-production support), since its creation in 2021.

Manon Duverger coordinates the Aide aux cinémas du monde distribution (ACMD) at the CNC since 2018, a support that aims to improve the distribution and circulation in the world of international coproductions.

Andrés Ramirez Pulido, colombian director and producer

Andrés Ramirez Pulido is a Colombian director and producer, born in Bogota in 1989. He studied cinema and creative writing at the National University of Colombia. His short film Damiana, was presented in Official Competition at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival and was selected in many other festivals like Toronto (TIFF) etd. His previous film, El Eden, was presented at the Berlinale in 2016 and awarded in Busan, etc. His short films are closely related to La Jauría, his first feature film that won the Aides aux cinémas du monde in 2019.

 

 

Giancarlo Nasi, producer at Quijote Films (Chile)

He produced Blanquita by Fernando Guzzoni (Chile), that won the Aides aux cinémas du monde in 2019.

 

 

 

Film producer, political scientist, and intellectual property lawyer. Founder and President of the Chilean Academy of Cinematic Arts, and a university professor at various film schools in Chile and abroad.
Specialized in international co-productions, working with over 17 countries in more than 15 films, through his company Quijote Films in Chile. Advisor and panelist in some of the most prominent festivals worldwide, such as Rotterdam Lab, Sundance CoLab, and South by Southwest. Among his films stand out Land and Shade by César Acevedo, winner of the Camera d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival, Oblivion Verses by Alireza Khatami, premiered in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival where it won the Lion for Best Screenplay, Lina from Lima by María Paz González, part of the Discovery Section of the Toronto Film Festival, and White on white by Theo Court, winner of the Lion for Best Director in the Venice Film Festival.

 

Paula Gomes, distributor and producer at Olhar Distribuição (Brazil)

She is the distributor of Los Conductos by Camilo Restrepo (Colombia), that won the Aide aux cinémas du monde Distribution in 2020.

Audiovisual distributor and producer, graduated in Marketing at Fundação Getúlio Vargas São Paulo. Is Co-founder at Olhar Distribuição. Previously, worked as executive producer in shorts, features and television content. Coordinated the Southeast Regional Office of the Production Line of Content for Public TVs FSA/ Ancine from 2014 to 2016. Integrates the steering committee of AVEC/PR (Association of Cinema and Video of Paraná - a civil society organization) in 2021/2022.

Rafael Sampaio, Managing Director of BrLab, producer and founding partner of Klaxon Cultura Audiovisual

He worked as a film programmer at cultural venues such as Museu da Imagem e do Som de São Paulo, Cinemateca Brasileira and Cine Olido, and has already produced and programmed many film exhibitions and festivals. He also coordinates training courses and platforms such as Prodav 04 Project Development Labs for Ancine/FSA, in addition to BrLab, which he created and has been directing since 2011. He produced the feature films Sobre Rodas (2017), directed by Mauro D 'Addio, and Diz a Ela que me Viu Chorar (2019), directed by Maíra Bühler, among others.

Audiovisual Communicator, Bachelor of Aesthetics, Director and Producer, of films such as Matar a un Hombre (Sundance) and Mala Junta. Founder of Encuentros BioBioCine. Workshop speaker and jury at various festivals around the world. His short film Pulento premiered at Sanfic and he is working on his first film: Piscola.

 

 

 

 

 


Graciela Guerrero, Cine Qua Non Lab (Mexico)
 

Mexican producer whose works have won multiple awards at major festivals around the world. She is currently the Program Director of Cine Qua Non Lab, and participates as a jury member in international forums and festivals such as Tribeca Film Institute, Guadalajara Film Festival, Ventana Sur, Talents, among others.

 

 

 

Ivette Liang, Nuevas Miradas (Cuba)
 

Since 2018, she has directed the Production Chair at EICTV in Cuba and is General Director of the Nuevas Miradas-EICTV Project development laboratory. She is a member of the EAVE Producers network. In 2014 she co-founded the Film Production and Training Company Galaxia 311 SAS (Colombia) where she is a partner and Producer. She has premiered her films at festivals such as Cannes, Rotterdam, Toronto, among others.

 

 

 

Gerardo Michelin, LatAm Cinema (Uruguay)

In 2007 he founded LatAm cinema, an information platform specialized in the Latin American film industry. In recent years, he has been in charge of different research projects such as the mapping of international funds Show me the Fund and the mapping of CoLab laboratories that will be published soon.

 

 

Viviana Saavedra, Bolivia Lab (Bolivia)

Viviana Saavedra Del Castillo Director, Executive Producer and Programmer, Bachelor in Social Communication.
Director and programmer for 14 years of Bolivia Lab, a platform that hosts spaces for script training, development, completion and distribution, as well as a connector of Ibero-American meeting spaces.
