Synopsis :
A tropical garden becomes the stage for an encounter between two lonely souls will spend time together : one of an upper-class woman whose early onset senile dementia is taking away everything she once was, and another of a pregnant immigrant caregiver who is alone, cut off from the world by a terrible secret.

Director's biography:
Ana Endara lives in Panama, where she has studied Social Sciences and Anthropology at Florida State University, site Panama Canal. She also studied Cinema at the International School of Cinema and Television in Cuba (EICTV). She works as a videographer at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama. She has made feature-length documentaries exploring different dimensions of Panamanian society and the concept of belonging. Querido Trópico is her first feature film.

Born in Panama, Isabella Gálvez, founded Mente Pública in 2010, which focuses on the development of both fiction and documentary projects. Her most acclaimed works include films such as Kenke; The Joy of Sound; Days of Light; For Your Peace of Mind, Make Your Own Museum and The Daughters, among others, all produced in collaboration with partners from Latin America and Europe. These films have been showcased in both commercial circuits and international festivals.
