Synopsis:

Lolita, indigenous, lies down in front of a giant moving truck. Truck brakes. Behind it, a caravan of excavators and other vehicles. Two years earlier. A helicopter lands on top of a skyscraper in a Latin American city. Sinclair, former military member of Delta Force, expert on counterinsurgency war, is hired by North American Goldto eliminate any opposition to their mines. Sinclair and his team - with several disguises - conspire, bribe, sabotage, infiltrate. Soon, most men in the resistance are corrupted, scared away, imprisoned or murdered. Sinclair directs all operations between mansions and golf courses but sometimes he does a job directly hiding his true identity, like killing Lolita's husband or leading a state of siege. Lolita manages to escape with her children. Soon after, Lolita and several women take the lead with great bravery and new tactics. Now Sinclair's goal is to murder Lolita.

Visual concept:

I want to portray this contemporary battle between the two sides through a suspenseful and complex puzzle. The spectator will actively participate putting together the fragmented pieces as he or she takes an emotional journey in Lolita's struggle to live. We will cast people from the villages as well as talented actors that will help to get to the widest audience possible. The film will feel like a piece of life, a document of real events, a neorealist, poetic, political, thrilling film that keeps the audience at the edge of their seats.
