Mila, 19 years old, is a drama teacher. She is pregnant. Gilmar, 27 year old, is a history teacher. He is in a relationship with Igor, the 19 year old cattle herder. The three of them will form an unconventional family. The film follows these young people’s path in the town of Serra do Ramalho, in the drylands of Bahia, and society’s reaction to this unusual story.
